If anxiety, intrusive thoughts, people-pleasing, self-doubt, grief or emotional overwhelm have started running your world, there is nothing “wrong” with you. These are learned patterns, shaped by experience and reinforced by a nervous system that has been in protection mode for far too long. And they can be unlearned.
I’m Dr. Bev, a registered clinical & health psychologist with 15+ years of experience. I work primarily with women/mothers, executives & health practitioners navigating anxiety, OCD, major life transitions, and identity shifts. My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices, while also integrating nervous system regulation, compassion-focused work, values exploration, and environment-based healing.
Therapy with me is not about symptom management alone. It’s about reconnection — to your body, your truth, your voice, and the version of you that exists beyond fear, conditioning, and old patterns. Together, we slow things down, get curious about the stories you tell yourself, and begin to reshape them with clarity, purpose, and self-trust.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from themselves. Over time, they begin to feel calmer, more grounded, more spacious in their body, and more aligned with who they truly are. Many describe a deep sense of “coming home” to themselves for the first time in years.
I believe healing happens not only in the mind, but in the spaces we inhabit, the habits we form, and the way we learn to relate to ourselves. This belief led to the creation of Haven — my psychology-led wellness and design platform focused on cultivating environments that support emotional wellbeing, clarity, and growth. When appropriate, we may explore how your space, routines, and environment are either supporting or depleting your nervous system.
